Background

Continuous improvement in governance and operating models is crucial for high-performing sporting organisations. As the sector faces social, economic, technological, and political challenges, it is vital to achieve clarity of purpose and identify the most effective governance and operating models.

While the sporting landscape has evolved significantly in the past decade, the governance and operating model for Touch Football in NSW has not. Therefore, to ensure the sport’s future success, the NSWTA Board has decided to conduct a comprehensive Governance and Operating Model Review.

The NSWTA Governance and Operating Model Review will be conducted by McLaughlin Sports Consultancy, supported by a skilled Review Steering Group (RSG) with input from stakeholders across the state.

The time is right to make evidence-based decisions relating to the future of Touch Football in NSW, to do what is right for the future of the sport.
