The 2026 GYG Junior State Cup State Final has delivered in spectacular fashion, with perfect conditions setting the stage for an unforgettable finale to this year’s campaign.
After outstanding competition across the Northern and Southern Conferences, the stage was set for the ultimate showdown. Conference Champions went head-to-head in a thrilling best-of-three series, with State titles on the line and pride driving every contest.
The standard of play once again highlighted the incredible talent and depth of junior Touch Football across New South Wales.
The continued growth of the NSW Junior State Cup is undeniable. Affiliates from right across the state embraced the opportunity to compete on the big stage, further strengthening the pathways that support and develop the next generation of athletes.
Importantly, the event continues to nurture more than just players. Coaches, referees and officials progressed alongside the competition, reinforcing NSW Touch Football’s commitment to growing the game at every level.
A sincere thank you to all teams who earned their place at the GYG State Final, our dedicated Affiliate Coordinators, the parents and families who support their children’s journey, and our referees whose professionalism and endurance make an event of this scale possible.
We also acknowledge the ongoing support of Wagga Wagga City Council and Dubbo Regional Council across both Conferences, and extend our appreciation to Guzman y Gomez for their partnership as naming rights partner of the 2026 Junior State Cup.
Congratulations to our 2026 GYG Junior State Cup Champions. The future of NSW Touch Football continues to shine brightly and we look forward to doing it all again next year.
