Team NSW Assistant Coach & Management Opportunities – 2027 State of Origin

NSW Touch Football (NSWTF) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a number of Assistant Coach and Manager positions as part of the Team NSW 2027 State of Origin campaign.

 

These appointments will cover the 2027 State of Origin Series, including the training camps and preparation program leading into the campaign. State of Origin represents one of the pinnacle opportunities within the Touch Football pathway. While it provides players with the opportunity to progress towards both State and National representation, the same pathway exists for our coaches and managers. NSWTF is looking for suitably experienced, committed and passionate people who want to contribute to the Team NSW environment and continue to develop within the representative pathway.

Assistant Coach Opportunities

Expressions of Interest are now open for Assistant Coach positions in the following divisions:

• Men’s 45s
• Women’s 45s
• Women’s 50s
• Men’s 65s

 

Applicants for Assistant Coach positions must hold a minimum Touch Football Australia Talent or Elite Coaching Accreditation.

 

Successful applicants will work closely with the respective Head Coach, Team Manager and the broader NSWTF Performance, Pathways & Integrity team throughout the campaign.

Manager Opportunity

NSWTF is also seeking an EOI for the following Team Manager position:

• Women’s 35s

 

Previous representative team management experience will be viewed favourably.

 

Applicants who also hold a TFA Talent or Elite Coaching Accreditation will be looked upon favourably, however this is not an essential requirement for the Manager position.

Team NSW Program Commitment

All successful applicants must be available to participate fully in the Team NSW program.

This includes attendance at the compulsory face-to-face activities, Team NSW training camps and Emerging Blues Camps where required.

These commitments are mandatory. Failure to attend required activities may result in removal from the appointed position.
