HEY SPORT, R U OK?

The NSW Touch Association is proud to be a ‘Hey Sport, R U OK? Champion’

We want our NSW Touch Footballing family to inspire and empower everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and start a conversation with those in their world who may be struggling with life.

You don’t need to be an expert to reach out – just a good friend and a great listener.

We are excited to share with you the launch of Hey Sport, R U OK? resources.

The ‘Hey Sport, R U OK?’ free resources include practical tools and tips to help everyone involved in grassroots sporting clubs, teams and associations build an R U OK? Culture and stay connected with their sporting community.

We know that R U OK? conversations work best when they are authentic and there is trust.  We also know that being involved with sporting clubs, teams, and associations presents opportunities for meaningful conversations to take place.

As community sport resumes in, the ‘Hey Sport, R U OK?’ tools are freely available for use by our community to encourage members to check in with each other.

We here at NSWTA are keen to have as many affiliates, teams, and regions as possible be aware of how to create an R U OK? culture as communities start to return and rebuild from a pandemic perspective. We would appreciate any support you can provide to help us share the message.

THANK YOU in helping us bring this campaign to life.
