NSW Touch Football wishes to advise that due to excessive rainfall and tidal rises, the 2015 Junior State Cup has been abandoned.
This was not a lightly taken decision as it is always our intent to deliver quality events for our participants, families and spectators.
As of 6.00am Sunday morning, there are insufficient fields available to safely complete the event in any entirety deserving of this competition.
New South Wales Touch Association General Manager, Dean Russell said : “Our sincere apologies to all of the participants, we have tried in our best endeavour to complete the 2015 NSW Junior State Cup however with five days of consistent rain the water no longer has any area to escape to. We thank all parents, coaches, managers, affiliate coordinators, referees and all participants for their patience over the first two days and reiterate that this decision was not taken lightly. Please travel safely home.”
