Success of the Junior State Cup is something that the NSW Touch Football are very proud of and we have the excellent efforts of our Affiliates, Team Management, Parents and Players to thank in supporting the event.
With team participation constantly rising and with careful consideration, NSWTA can advise that this will now see the 2017 Junior State Cup in Port Macquarie be conducted over 3 full days. This will see games commence on Friday 17th February 2017 commence at 8.30am.
The earlier start will allow for the possibility of games finishing earlier each evening and allow for steady growth in the event with more fields and time allocations available.
Additionally the 2016 Junior State Cup will also see the last time Affiliates are able to enter 2nd teams into divisions. This was mentioned in an earlier memorandum where the ability to enter 2nd teams was highlighted as dubious. Whilst we understand some Affiliate’s wishes to have secondary teams attend the event has outgrown these possibilities.
Finally, NSW Touch Football can confirm the dates for the 2017 Junior State Cup in Port Macquarie as February 17-19.
