NSW Touch Football are in full force preparing the 2017 Vawdon Cup which is set to start in just over 2 months! Vawdon Cup is a representative Touch Football event which caters for Open, Senior, Youth and Inclusion Divisions.
Although Vawdon Cup is a representative event, there is a strong social and family orientated atmosphere with affiliates banding together to come out on top each week. Vawdon Cup hosts a wide range of skills and experience from Youth to Senior players. It is also a great avenue for youth participants to develop their game.
The Inclusion League is a modified competition within Vawdon Cup which allows players with disabilities to participate in Touch Football at a representative level. This competition enables full engagement and the chance to compete on the Grand Final day.
Round 1 of Vawdon Cup begins on Friday, July 21st. The competition round games will be played through July, August and September with the Finals Series being conducted throughout October. The Grand Finals will take place at the home of NSW Touch Football, Canterbury Velodrome on Saturday, October 28th.
