NSW Touch Football is pleased to announce the 2018 Premier Inclusion League to be held throughout the 2018 Vawdon Cup competition.
This is the third consecutive year that NSW Touch Football in partnership with Sport NSW and NSWTA affiliates are providing and supporting an opportunity for players of all abilities to participate in representative Touch Football.
Sport NSW Disability Inclusion Manager Murray Elbourn expressed that Sport NSW are keen to see this inclusion model spread to more state sporting organisations in the coming year.
“Partnering with NSW Touch Football to run these inclusion league competitions is vital to the growth of disability sport transitioning into a main stream competition and club environment,” Mr Elbourn said.
Whilst Hills, Manly and Parramatta are warmly welcomed back for another year, Newcastle City are making history as they become the first Country affiliate team to participate in the Premier Inclusion League competition.
Last year’s Grand Final went to an exciting drop off so be sure to keep an eye out for some exceptional Touch Football talent at a Vawdon Cup venue you are participating at soon!
The 2018 Premier Inclusion League will tap off this Friday during Round 6 of Vawdon Cup with Parramatta taking on Hills at 7:00pm on Field 5, Doyle Ground, North Parramatta.
