DO YOU WANT TO BE A REFEREE?
Signing up to become a Touch Referee is easy!!
The Level 1 Referees course can be completed by anyone who is 12 years or older, and comprises of an online component (ASC Officiating Principles) and a face to face component
Our courses are now run through THE NEST, which is Touch Football Australia’s online database which keeps your accreditations up to date and your information in safe hands
To begin your refereeing journey, simply create your NEST profile HERE
Once you have created your profile, simply follow the steps below to register to a course.
- Login to your NEST profile and click “TRAINING LIBRARY”
- Select the icon “VIEW COURSES” under the TFA REFEREE COURSES TAB
- Select “PURCHASE” under the TFA Level 1 Referee Tab. The cost of the course is $49.50
- Once you have purchased the course, click the “MY TRAINING” tab on the left of your screen
- There will now be 2 options: the TFA Level 1 Referees option, and the ASC Community Officiating General Principles. The ASC COGP must be completed first so click “START” and follow the prompts Once the ASC COGP have been completed, upload your certificate using the prompts
- Go back to the TFA Level 1 Referees option and click “START”. Select “ENROL”
- Select a course date from the calendar, and select “ENROL”

Level 1 Referee Accreditation for a minimum of 6 months.
Regional Director written approval is required for any participant with less than 1 year Level 1 experience.
