The Give It A Try program is a training resource aimed at helping pre/newly accredited level 1 referees gain confidence and develop skills through a series of practical sessions.

Affiliates have a selection of training drills specifically designed to develop technical skill and confidence of new referees by focusing on communication, positioning and movement patterns. These drills can be found in the program pdf, which will also have links to video demonstrations of the drills.

The resource also helps Affiliate coaches identify the training indicators for each drill, which allows anyone to run the program and ensure the participants are getting the most out of each session.
