NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF NEW SOUTH WALES TOUCH ASSOCIATION

Held online via video conference

On Tuesday, 3 September 2024, in accordance with the New South Wales Touch Association Constitution (NSWTA Constitution), written notice is hereby given that the NSWTA Board of Directors has scheduled the NSWTA Annual General Meeting for the 2023/24 reporting period. The meeting is to be held on Saturday, 2 November 2024 10am AEDT

Notice of Motions, Special Resolutions, Nominations for Interested Directors and General.

Business items are to be forwarded to the General Manager by the close of business on Wednesday, 18 September 2024.

Meeting papers and video conference (Zoom) details will be circulated no later than Thursday, 3 October 2024.

Three Interested Director positions are to be elected as outlined below. Further information on the positions is contained within the NSWTA Board Position Statements:

·        Interested Director (Country)

·        Interested Director (Technical)

·        Interested Director

In accordance with clause 25.2 of the NSWTA Constitution, the board will appoint a Nominations Committee to review and advise the board on candidates who have met the criteria and are considered eligible for election to the NSWTA Board. In accordance with clause 24.2 of the NSWTA Constitution, for the 2024 election of Interested Directors, a minimum of one male and one female must be elected.
