The New South Wales Touch Association (NSWTA) in partnership with Queensland Touch Football (QTF) is excited to announce that C.ex Stadium in Coffs Harbour will host the highly anticipated 2025 State of Origin Touch Series, where the best players from New South Wales and Queensland will go head-to-head in an epic rivalry.
The event will take place on June 20-21, 2025, marking the first time State of Origin will be played since Australias successful 2024 World Cup campaign.
The State of Origin Touch Series is renowned for its high level of intensity and skill. Passionate participants and fans from both states come together to witness the thrilling matchups. This year’s series promises to deliver even more excitement as the two states battle for supremacy on the field.
NSWTA General Manager Dean Russell said “We are thrilled to bring the 2025 State of Origin series to Coffs Harbour, a town with such strong ties to the sport and a history of hosting exceptional events. QTF CEO Greg Denny added “State of Origin always brings out the most thrilling of spectacles, and we’re very excited to have another State of Origin series around the corner. It’s been a few years since we have claimed the State of Origin trophy, but I am confident our Queensland Teams will do everything in their power to return the tile to Queensland in 2025,” he said.
