NSW Touch Football is excited to be one of the sports chosen to be involved in Sporting Schools, working closely with primary schools around NSW to deliver Touch Football. Sporting Schools is a great opportunity to:
- Expose Touch Football to more children
- Link local schools and affiliates
- Deliver programs before, during and after school
- Access grants funding to support deliver e.g purchase of equipment
NSW Touch Football can offer a range of Field Officer (coach) delivered or teacher delivered programs to suit all needs, as well other modified services that Sporting Schools funding can be used for.
Who can get involved?
All Australian primary schools can apply to be involved in Sporting Schools. Please visit the Sporting Schools website at www.sportingschools.gov.au/ for all information on Sporting Schools including:
- How your school can apply for funding
- Closing dates for funding applications
- How much funding your school is entitled to

Coaches – all coaches/ field officers affiliated under Touch Football Australia and have a Working With Children Check are eligible to deliver Sporting Schools. If you are interested, please register on the Sporting Schools website and follow the steps on the Coach Registration Guide. Once completed please email Karren Valdez on [email protected] to confirm your expression of interest. You will be contacted if a local school requires a coach.
