Touch Football Her Way

Touch Football Her Way Coaching Program tapped off over the weekend with great success.

Spearheaded by NSW High-Performance Coach Tony Trad as well as the game’s undisputed Leading Female Coach Karley Banks, the Touch Football, Her Way Coaching Program will consist of several conferences working on Game Development, Game Analysis, and Touch IQ. The program will also have a focus on Leadership, team dynamics as well as player and coach profiling.

Her Sport Her Way is a four-year strategy that the Office of Sport aims to build a stronger sports sector where women and girls are valued, recognised, and have equal choices and opportunities to lead and participate.

It provides a clear role for the NSW Government to work with the sector and new partners in innovative ways to shape the future of women’s sport.

The program will be led by 6 NSW aspiring Female Coaches in Roha Paki, Mel Mitchell, Natalie Little, Carol Jones, Cara Zaremski, and Edith Nathan

Tony Trad was thrilled with the input so far from all women and can not wait for the next conference weekend “This weekend has been enjoyable and productive with so much significant growth over just 2 days.  Also having the State of Origin Women’s Open team train at Tempe allowed the Coaching group to watch, learn and discuss Game IQ. We are definitely on the right track with the program”
