We are taking the oath – will you take it with us?
NSW Touch Association are standing up, speaking out and acting to prevent violence against women through White Ribbon Night at Round 2 of Vawdon Cup!
White Ribbon is the world’s largest movement of men and boys working to end men’s violence against women and girls, promote gender equality, healthy relationships and a new vision of masculinity. On average, one woman dies of intimate partner violence every week in Australia – don’t stand by – STAND UP. By NSWTA hosting a White Ribbon Night we’re raising vital funds and awareness to stop violence before it happens.
To show our support, we are encouraging all players, coaches, team management and referees to wear a white arm band during participation of Round 2 of Vawdon Cup. White tape will be supplied!
The team manager will collect a role of white tape on completion of their team sign on sheet at Tournament Control on Friday, 28th July. Jump on board and encourage your affiliate to wear a white arm band with pride!
You can help us reduce the impact of violence against women by donating to the cause today using the ‘Donate’ link below – no matter how big or small, your contribution will make a difference. Funds raised go towards White Ribbons prevention programs in schools, workplaces and the broader community – their work really makes a positive difference to everyone.
Donate to show your support here!
We will be supporting the cause throughout the entire Vawdon Cup which means you can donate until the end of Round 12! NSWTA have a target of $500, if you can help get us to this target, we will match it and donate an additional $500!
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
