The NSW Touch Association (NSWTA) is pleased to announce that the 2024 Country Championships will be conducted in the coastal city of Wollongong on the weekend of October 12th and 13th, 2024.

Wollongong Touch Association’s desire and assistance to host the 2024 Country Championships highlights their commitment to promoting the sport and enhancing the region’s profile as a premier sporting destination. Their collaboration with local stakeholders and strong advocacy for hosting the event played a pivotal role in securing the championships for Wollongong.

“We are thrilled to bring the Country Championships to Wollongong in 2024,” declared Dean Russell, General Manager of the NSW Touch Association (NSWTA). “We thank Wollongong Touch and their steadfast dedication to the sport in the region. Their relentless efforts secured the hosting rights for Wollongong, ensuring this prestigious event will be held here and promising an unforgettable experience for teams and supporters alike. The Country Championships are a highlight on the NSWTA calendar. The event will feature teams competing across various divisions, including Opens, Mixed, and Masters categories, promising thrilling matches and memorable moments throughout the tournament.
