The New South Wales Touch Association along with all NSW State Sporting Organisations have partnered with NSW Health to promote and activate our communities to participate in the Vaccination Program.
Sport Super Sunday is being held at vaccination centers for the twelve local government areas of concern this weekend to help Team NSW beat COVID-19.
Plenty of appointments are available at Qudos Bank Arena and the NSW Health Vaccination Centre at Sydney Olympic Park and the Vaccination Centre at Macquarie Fields this Sunday, August 29, for all sports lovers.
NSW Touch Association General Manager, Dean Russell, is fully supportive of our community taking part to help beat the spread of COVID-19.
“Sporting codes will go head-to-head to compete for the NSW Vaccination Championship Cup, and know that they are doing the best thing for their health, and the health of their community,” Russell stated.
“We’re calling on everyone who plays Touch Football or who loves to watch sport in these 12 LGAs to help us kick some goals this weekend – and set a new vaccination Super Sunday record” he added.
NSW Deputy Secretary Susan Pearce said “Our vaccination hubs have bookings available for people aged 16 – 39 in local government areas of concern across Sydney and we want to see sporting clubs rally together and promote vaccinations across their teams.
“It would be great to see people wearing team colours at our hubs to go into the draw for some great prizes and a chance to prove which code came out the strongest.”
NSW Health has lots of bookings available at QUDOS Bank Arena and the NSW Vaccination Centre at Figtree Drive Sydney Olympic Park and Macquarie Fields for Sunday 29 August. And… if you can’t make Sunday – they have other vaccination appointments over the next two weeks at all of their Centres.
We need everyone aged 16-39 years living in the 12 Local Government Areas of Bayside, Blacktown, Burwood, Campbelltown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Georges River, Liverpool, Parramatta, Strathfield or Penrith to get vaccinated.
Every person who gets vaccinated is making a difference – so let’s see which Sporting Code and which team will win the NSW Vaccination Championship Cup.
We have priority COVID-19 Pfizer vaccination appointments available at our NSW Health Vaccination Centres now.
Book your appointment now and help us stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
