State Cup 2024 Triumphs

Port Macquarie delivered every element Mother Nature could muster during the 2024 State Cup — blistering heat, rolling thunderstorms, and unexpected power outages.

Despite game delays, challenging conditions, and nail-biting drop-offs in every final, players, referees, and supporters pushed through with resilience and determination.

The tournament culminated in one of the most intense, nail-biting Men’s Open Grand Finals we’ve seen in years, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats. It was a true testament to the spirit of touch football, proving that even the toughest conditions couldn’t dampen the excitement and competitiveness of this year’s event.

A massive thank you to all our Affiliate Coordinators, players, coaches, selectors, and referees for your incredible contributions to making this year’s State Cup a success. Your dedication and passion keep our game thriving.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Hastings Council and the Committee at Port Touch — your support and hard work were essential in bringing this event to life.

A special shoutout to our Major State Cup Partner, Raiz, and our valued sponsors Shine, Hard Fizz, Inferno, Grip Star, and Budgy Smuggler. Your continued support helps us elevate the State Cup experience year after year.
