As the whistle blew at the grand final stage today, the intensity and passion of the Vawdon Cup were on full display.
This year’s competition delivered everything we hoped for — thrilling finishes, breakout performances and a clear blueprint for what lies ahead.
The revamped format saw teams fire in from all corners of the state, with more athletes pushing their limits and more supportors on the sidelines backing their Affiliate.
We want to take a moment to thank our Affiliates and their coordinators for their hard work throughout the season — your commitment is what makes this competition thrive. To our coaches and managers, where would the teams be without you? To our players, you truly shone this year, showcasing the best of our game. And to our referees — week in, week out, sometimes covering two or three games a night — you were nothing short of amazing.
A special shout-out goes to our incredible All Abilities teams from Hills Hornets and Northern Suburbs, who took to the field this afternoon. It was inspiring to watch you play, celebrate, and share everything you love about Touch Football. Your energy, teamwork, and joy remind us all why this sport is so special.
