New South Wales Touch Football is excited to welcome the return of the Junior Regionals to the Central Coast in 2026, with the event set to be played at the Central Coast Regional Sporting & Recreation Complex, Tuggerah on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 April.

Having last hosted the event just a few years ago, we’re looking forward to returning to a venue that has consistently delivered a high-quality experience for our athletes, officials and supporters – plus a new stadium field and surrounding infrastructure providing the perfect stage for our next generation of representative players.

This year’s event will see 47 teams from across New South Wales come together, showcasing the very best junior talent across the Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 divisions. Junior Regionals remains a key part of the NSW Touch Football pathway, bringing together regional teams who have progressed through the Junior State Cup and regional selection processes to compete at a higher representative level.

Across the two days, spectators can expect high-quality, fast-paced competition, with the opening ceremony commencing at 9.00am Saturday morning. The event draw, including match times and field allocations, is available via the NSW Touch Football website (times and fields are subject to change) along with a full venue map to assist teams and spectators in navigating the precinct.

In addition to our players, the event will also feature some of the State’s most promising up-and-coming referees. Junior Regionals provides an important development opportunity for referees within the pathway, allowing them to officiate at a high level and continue progressing toward future representative honours.

At the conclusion of the event, NSW Touch Football will announce the Junior Regionals Merit Teams. These teams recognise the standout performers across all regions, with players selected based on their performance in their respective positions throughout the tournament. While not a touring team, the Merit Team serves as an acknowledgement of individual excellence and highlights those athletes who have performed at the highest level during the event.

With a premier venue, strong team nominations and the continued growth of the junior pathway, the 2026 Junior Regionals is shaping up to be another outstanding showcase of the future of touch football in New South Wales.

You can also expect a great range of food and refreshment options throughout the event for you to enjoy.
