NSW Touch Football would like to invite members of our Touch Football community to join the NSW Touch Football team as a Casual Event Ambassador for the 2026 Vawdon Cup.
Event Ambassadors play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of our events, providing a positive experience for players, officials, volunteers and spectators.
We have casual opportunities available across the following Vawdon Cup matchdays:
Competition Dates
- Friday, September 11
- Friday, September 18
- Sunday, September 20
- Friday, September 25
- Friday, October 9
Possible Venues
Opportunities may be available across the following venues, depending on competition requirements:
Balmain: Timbrell Park
Bankstown: Vale of Ah Reserve
Penrith: The Kingsway Playing Fields
Tempe: Canterbury Velodrome and Waterworth Park
Position Details
- Casual rate: $25.00 per hour
- Indicative shift times: 6:00pm-10:00pm
- Applicants do not need to be available for every matchday
- Successful applicants will work alongside NSW Touch Football staff to assist with the delivery of the event
*Shift times may vary depending on the matchday and venue requirements.
Duties May Include
- PA announcements
- Venue set-up and pack-down
- Field and venue patrols
- Competition administration
- Providing assistance to teams, officials and spectators
- Supporting NSW Touch Football staff with general event operations
